Lester F. White, 88, was called to be with the Lord, Friday, November 6, 2015. Les and his wife, Betty were married in Bay City, Michigan on June 14, 1952 and were blessed with five sons, David, James, Paul, Thomas and Patrick, al Read Obituary
Peace be with you. My Uncle Les was always a joy to be around, a kind and generous spirit. He and Betty have lived a charmed life together and he was as lucky to catch her as she was to catch him. Their marriage has been a wonderful sight to behold. My Mom, Dorean Koenig is very saddened, she said..."I've known Les most of my life, when he came over to date my sister we would play board games while he waited for her to get ready...he was always so up-beat and optimistic." He will be sorely missed by so many.

My father was the best of fathers. He set a good example for his 9 children. He taught us to love God and gave us the gift of Faith. I love you, dad. May God bless you always. I look forward to seeing you in heaven.
We always teased Les that it was his "fault" that we became Catholic. We both had been raised in Protestant homes and loved the Lord. He drove Alan to and from an Arise Weekend Retreat in Tampa. He came home filled with the knowledge that the Holy Spirit wanted him to become a Catholic. This was in the early 1990's and the rest is history. He and Betty were always supportive of our faith journey and we counted Les as a very dear friend. Our love and prayers go to Betty, their children, grandchildren, and extended family.
