Lester F. White's Obituary
Lester F. White, 88, was called to be with the Lord, Friday, November 6, 2015.
Les and his wife, Betty were married in Bay City, Michigan on June 14, 1952 and were blessed with five sons, David, James, Paul, Thomas and Patrick, also four daughters, Mary, Margaret, Kathleen, and Maureen. These nine children brought twenty one grandchildren into our family, thirteen grandsons and eight granddaughters and so far these grandchildren have increased the family with six great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters. Les and Betty were also blessed to have three sons-in-law and three daughters-in-law, two grandsons-in-law and five granddaughters-in-law.
Les and Betty moved from Allen Park, Michigan in 1971 to Napoleon, Ohio and then to Dunedin, Florida in 1974. Les retired from an Ohio Company as their treasurer in 1974, and then from the Ethan Allen Carriage House Furniture Company as Controller in Pinellas Park, until he started his own public accounting business through 2013.
Les and Betty’s family of about 50 people were brought up in the Roman Catholic faith. They were members of St. Michael’s Parish in Clearwater for about twenty years, and currently with Our Lady of Lourdes parish for 21 years. The family members have moved to near and far places, but we all gathered together in 2011 at a Clearwater beach hotel for a grand and memorable reunion.
A Visitation will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, November 12, 2015 with a Vigil Service at 3:30 pm.
