Sharon and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. When I was new at Bankers Insurance, I would deliver requested files to the claims dept and I always looked up to Ludi. Years later, we worked together at the 5th St. location and that is where we got to know each other. When we would see each other he would always mess with me and call me by my legal name JASONNNN! My fondest memory of Ludi is when he took me to the golf driving range to hit golf balls. He said he would help me with my swing. Well I brought a change of clothes so we could go straight from work. I forgot to bring appropriate shoes- I only had penny loafers - to wear with shorts to the driving range. I felt like an idiot and Ludi did make fun of me and give me hard time but we laughed and still had a really good time. He was a very respectable man and I will always remember Ludi. I know he touched a lot of people. When we heard of his passing, the news spread quickly to all of the old timers here at Bankers. Everyone remembers Ludi. He will certainly be missed. Sharon: Ali, Drew, Connor and Carolyn, Luke, Emma and I send our love and prayers to you and your family. We also send our love to Kristin and her family and to Gina and her family. Your video was incredible and brought back a lot of memories (and tears) of our years in St. Thomas. Ludi was a special man and uncle...he will be missed but never forgotten! I have faith that Mom, his "Sissy," is waiting with open arms to welcome him to Heaven. We send you our love, thoughts and prayers! I am so sorry to learn this, Sharon. I remember when I last saw you and Ludi, way too long ago, when we had dinner at Pappas in Tarpon Springs. Ludi and I ate octopus while you looked on with amusement and amazement that anyone would order this. It was a great evening. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
