It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter and sister, Makaia, who left us on November 26, 2024, at the age of 19. Despite the challenges she faced from a rare and often misunderstood disorder, Ma Read Obituary
I just want to say we will all miss Makaia dearly. She was a sweet happy girl who did very well with us here at Paul B Stephens School. Although she is gone way too soon, we are glad for the memories we shared. Our prayers and sympathy go out to her family. Eddie Patzner, teacher.
How very sad it was to hear of Makaia's passing. I have known her for over 2 years and will always remember Makaia as such a sweet girl with a beautiful smile. Her giggles would light up the room. Makaia will be missed by all that loved her. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Honestly what really sticks out is how her Daddy Dj was always there especially when she was a baby! Their talks were just so cute and Makaia would just smile and halfway wouldn’t fool with anyone else, but him!!! Dj loved him some Makaia and he made sure you and the world knew it!!!
Also, watching you as her mother! You never gave up, no matter what others said. You gave Makaia the best 19 years of her life! Your guardian angel will never forget that!!!🕊️️💜
Words fail me, but here are some: When a tragedy like this happens, people search for just the "right" words to make it a little bit better. We both know there are no such words. To say that I'm sorry for your loss is an understatement. I grieve with you, my friend.
