My brother had Maggie Ballentine in the 6th grade at Horace Mann School. He always said she was one of his favorite teachers and still talks about her today! He will soon be 62! ... Good teacher make impressions that last a lifetime! ♥️
I am so sorry to hear about Maggie's passing. Many good memories on Brice Avenue in Lima, traveling back and forth with Maggie & Bill to ONU for CEU's and sharing camping experiences with them She was a delightful person and friend. Carol Blass
I had Mrs. Ballentine for my 6th grade teacher at Washington McKinley in Lima. She was one of my favorite teachers. One thing I remember was she taught us to listen to words to songs. She brought in a Simon and Garfunkel record and we listen to the words and talked about the songs. When my daughter was in elementary, the Ballentines brought in puppets to her class. I was thrilled that she got to experience Mrs. Ballentine as a teacher too. Thanks for being a party of my life Mrs. Ballentine!
We were students of Mrs. Ballentine in the 6th grade at Horace Mann Elementary. We will never forget her fun classroom and kind heart! We fondly remember her stories about southern California. God bless you Mrs. Ballentine and thank you!
