Marshall J. Amon Jr.'s Obituary
Marshall “Bud” Joseph Amon, Jr., age 69, of Clearwater, passed away on 19 July, 2021. He was born in May of 1952 to Marshall Joseph Amon, Sr. and Catherine (Caskey) Amon in Harvey, IL.
He chose to live each day with a sense of humor, integrity, generosity, and a boundless work ethic. Everyone who knew him could count on his sympathetic ear, some common sense advice, and always a helping hand.
After years of working in the Commercial Cold Storage Construction business, he started his own General Contracting company. Clients soon realized his ability to get their projects designed, built, and operating in no time. And often his relationships with customers and vendors would go from strictly business to friendship.
Being a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan opened up a chapter later in his life he truly treasured, faithfully attending Cubs Fantasy Camps. Over the years, he developed enduring friendships with fellow teammates, coaches, and administrators.
For all the lives he touched, he will be remembered and greatly missed.
He was passionately devoted to and is survived by his loving wife Meg and daughter Kelsey, his brother Tom and sister-in-law Angie, along with his wonderful extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
