To Peggy's dear family:
Oh, how I'll miss this lifetime friend I've known since 1949, when we double dated, both married during the Christmas season of 1949, and shared a lifetime of the joys in our time with each child who joined our families.
The years flew by and now my family and I say goodbye to one we have always held close as a dear friend.
My deepest love and sympathy to the family as you say goodbye to your dear Mother, one of the sweetest and kind and gentle ladies I have ever known. I was blessed to have her as a friend and in my life for 69 years. May she rest in peace.
