Mrs. Polly can now sit with Jesus as our nation's elected officials enter the pearly gates of Heaven. God rest their souls! I have no doubt there is a reunion of sorts going on up there with my parents and other neighbors.
I was truly blessed to have her at the north end of my "Amtrak wagon route" growing up. The Schutt family have been terrific neighbors throughout the years and she was a delight to talk with during my sojourns to Clearwater.
Mrs. Polly has a special place in my heart for her many acts of kindness during my mother's illness in my childhood years and later when she had cancer.
She was one of a kind and I'll cherish the memories.
