Matthew Iber, 59, of Fairmont, WV passed away suddenly Sunday, January 14th, 2024, while doing what he loved – traveling with his beloved wife Vicki. His loss is very unexpected, and profoundly felt by his family and many friends. Read Obituary

I am so sorry to learn of Matt's passing. Having lost a husband at too young an age, I know that the road you are on is a difficult one. I wish you peace, strength, and patience for the future. I also want to thank you and to recognize Matt for your kindnesses of the past.

I did not get to know Matt very well in my short time as a parishioner at CC Fairmont. However, I did have opportunities to spend time with him and Vicki during on-line bible studies during the season of Lent when Jordan Trumble was our priest. Matt was person you could tell would help you no matter if he knew you or not.
Such a shock to get the news of his passing. Matt will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
