Maureen Carroll Varro's Obituary
VARRO, Maureen Carroll “Micki” 75, of Palm Harbor, passed away January 16, 2018.
She was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church since 2010. Micki was loved for her vibrant, outgoing demeanor.
Micki was a professional film and television actress who appeared in several popular TV shows including “Mama’s Family,” “Hart to Hart,” and “The New Howdy Doody Show” as well as over 200 television commercials, and many stage performances. In addition to her acting accomplishments, she was also a talented singer and comedienne. Micki was the first female booth announcer in the United States and was also a meteorologist for WPLG Channel 10 in Miami, Florida.
She is survived by her loving husband Johnny Varro; daughter Heidi Varro Dinneen; son Todd Varro; sister Marilyn Biggins; granddaughters Hannah Groudas and Rachel Groudas; and grandson Avery Erickson.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, January 26th at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Clearwater.
Micki will be interred at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
