When I think about my Grampa and the wonderful memories I have, so many things come to mind. My Grandfather had a smile that would light up any room, he had beautiful bight eyes, and his wheelchair never defined who he was. As a child he showed me that even with a disability you could always achieve anything if you set your mind on a goal. My grandfather would take me fishing, teach me how to ice skate, go on rides at the amusement park and swimming in the pool or at the beach. He never miss my school activities as child or as an adult. He truly was an amazing person. One day I know he will come to me in a dream and we will walk holding hands and have an amazing time. My Grampa is finally with my Nana hand and hand and feeling his toes in he clouds. I will miss our phone calls every Wednesday and Sunday. I have so many endless stories to share with my children about how amazing he was. I love you Grampa.
