I can honestly say that every moment I spent with Paul (Dad) was a favorite moment. From our Cedar Point adventures, having dinner with all of them at least once a week to just watching movies, they always welcomed me into their home and I can honestly say I always felt that I was part of the family.
If there is a moment that stands out the most, I’d say there are two. The first would be shooting baskets in their driveway with him, and waking up early Saturday morning after spending the night, opening the door and the alarm going off. I can’t tell you how many times that happened, but he always came out and turned the alarm off and went back to bed without saying a word.
So Dad, thank you for all the great memories. Thank you for the drafting table so I could draft at school, thank you for all the words of encouragement and just being there for me. To Matt and ‘Mom’, I love you with my whole heart, and will share our stories of Dad as long as I live.
