Paul John Probst's Obituary
Paul J Probst , 81, passed away after a long battle with Cancer, January 26, 2026 at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. He was born November 20, 1944 in Fraser, MI the son of George Probst & Anna Dikos
He graduated from Fraser High School in 1962, Lawerance Tech University in 1973 with an Associate degree in Residential Design. He served in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 10972 which included 18 months of active duty.
Paul married Cathy Roberts October 17, 1969, they had 2 sons Chris born 06/14/1972 (passed away 6/21/2008) & Matt born 03/07/1976.
He worked for Lehner Associates until starting his own Residential Design Corporation in 1972 in Romeo MI. He and his son Chris continued the design business when the family moved to Florida in 1995. In 2023 he went to work for his great Nice’s Route 66 Diner until August 2025 when he became to ill to work.
Paul was predeceased by his parents George & Anna, his sister Marian, oldest son Chris, brother George, Brother-in-Law Bobby (he always loved him best)
He is survived by wife Cathy, son Matt, Sister-in-law Nancy ( better known as little sis), nice Emily, nephew Josh, great nice Olivia ( his boss), nephews Payton & Finley all from Florida. From Michigan sister-in-law Dee, Nice’s & nephews Jenny & noel, Vicky & Paul. Finally his 3rd son Scott Siveres, Chris & Scott were best friends from infancy thru adulthood and when Chris passed away Scott has continued to stay in touch.
There will be a celebration of Life on Saturday February 21, 2026 at Emily & Josh Falini’s from 4:30pm to 6:30pm
