I have so many memories with my mom. She was my best friend in the world. My favorite times were those with my Aunt Geri and mom in Rodanthe. We would go to the beach early in the morning and come back around 3-4pm where we would spend most of our time storytelling about the old days. We would laugh so much together. We had a special relationship that will never be forgotten.
I enjoyed our visits together at Elgin talking, laughing, eating together. She’d always say “ I love anything you cook”! Very much a lady and my sweet friend. I miss her so much.
Mom was the happiest with her grandkids!
