I knew Renate back in middle and high school. We lost touch after that. We spent many weekends riding our bikes from Morningside all the way to the beach and back stopping at my grandmother's for a drink. We loved walking the beach. She had the most infectious grin! Her video below shows that in every picture. I regret not staying in touch and never knew she was back in Clearwater. I am now in SC and have traveled to the Highlands many times. So many memories. Especially our many adventures to the mountains of NC. She loved to travel as everyone knew...one Christmas Eve we headed for Paris, spending a week and returning on New Years Eve. I will miss my dear friend and always remember our time together. RIP

Renata and I have been close friends for many years at least 25 we had some beautiful trips together to Italy to Greece to the North Carolina mountains to the Biltmore and to the beach here locally and we shared many memories she's one of my closest friends... I love her dearly I'm so happy that I got to be the person who brought her into my home for three weeks after her first surgery and take care of her and was also able to get her the best Medicare coverage and health insurance to take care of her needs. I have many awesome memories of card games and a great close friendship that I will keep for the rest of my life I have been able to witness Renata's deep Christianity and know that I will see her again in heaven I was too sick to visit her in the last 3 weeks of her life and for that I regret very much.... love, rest in peace, Renata, we will see you on the other side....my dear.
