Richard (Dick) Crotty, 86, of Dunedin, Florida, passed Friday,November 18, 2016. Dick was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. He served 4 years in the Navy and then worked as a longshoreman in Jersey City and New York. Years later, he moved to Florida where he retired from security at the St.Pete Times. He was a passionate sports fan from the time he was a teenager when he had the great opportunity to play basketball at Madison Square Garden. Dick was a loving and devoted husband, father of 5, and grandfather of 11. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
