I used to spend summer and winter with her at my Granny Anna Lee's house in Indiana.We were always doing crafts,baking,and making Christmas candy.She's was always the sweetest caring soul.I just went through my mother's estate finding my shirts in my hope chest she would make me for every season. We were a blessed family to be scattered across America where we were able to travel for visits.Later in life keep intouch via Facebook. She kept asking me to move down to Florida to be with her from Iowa. Heaven has the best 3 sisters.The Hooker,the Looker,and The Cooker❤️ Rest Easy Aunt Rita heaven is so lucky.

My heart goes out to Rita's family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. She was my Supervisor at Honeywell for a number of years and we were friends for years before that. Her gift of guidance and sense of humor will be forever remembered.

Rita was my second mom growing up. She welcomed me into her home as if I was another daughter. My fondest memories were of her baking and sharing. I still make several of her recipes. She was always baking and taking it to work to share with her co workers. I have followed in her footsteps.

Rita never said no to taking Dana and I to the mall, skating rink or anywhere else we wanted to go. I spent alot of my time at the Pennington house and it was never a problem.

As we grew up she became a respected friend and will always be remembered and loved by me. I love and will miss you Rita (Mrs. Pennington)
