This news hurts my heart. I hired Bob right out of college. During the interview, he struck me with his eager energy, curiosity to learn, determination to contribute, and promising technical knowledge and aptitude. From day one, Bob was an integral part of the Nielsen Media Research systems development team, building software solutions to support Nielsen operations and clients. Moreover, always one to listen and learn, support others, and carry his weight, he was a true team player. He showed up every day with his positive energy.
I’ve never forgotten that youthful smile that walked into my office ready to show he was worthy of the job. Clearly, he was, and he went on to grow his value at work and at home. My heart goes out to his son and his family. May his memory be a blessing for all.
