Sally Tompkins
I will forever miss and fondly remember many beautiful and everlasting memories of my Grammy. As many know her as Sally and is my name as well, I am proud and honored to be passed on carrying her name. She was a true matriarch of our family tree teaching us strength, wisdom, loyalty, strong faith and honor. I hold so many memories in Fla with Grampy and she at The Fisherman's Wharf, learning to float in the ocean, our family walks on the beach collecting shells and cans to earn a little recycling money, swimming in the pool, taking a ride on the trolley cart, Grampy and his cigars, his stories and cocktail hour. Sharing stories from the bible and the many questions I had growing up about God. Sharing thoughts about books especially "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe." It makes me sad that I didn't get to see her as I had planned to in less than 2 months but I cherish our 5 days that we had together in November 2011 joining in on her weekly condo/friends happy hour, sitting and catching up for hours and treating her to dinner. Thank you Grammy for helping me to grow up into the woman that I am today. If you told as a child that later in life I WOULD make my bed everyday, enjoy it and become adamin about Thank You notes I probably wouldn't believe you.....You are always in my heart and my spirit. I love you!!!! You will be so very missed!!!!Love Sally :)
