Selvarajah "Jey" Jeyatheva's Obituary
Selvarajah Jeyatheva, 66, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016, at the Largo Medical Center (FL, USA) surrounded by his loved ones following a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 35 years Chithrani Jayadeva, Heshani Jayawardhana (daughter), Taniya Jayadeva (daughter), Chenali Jayadeva (daughter), Gleshan Jeyatheva (son), grandson and many close family and friends.
Born and raised in Jaffna, Sri Lanka the son of Elizabeth Selvarajah (mother) and late Andrew Selvarajah (father). He resided in Kandy Sri Lanka from 1981-2001 before moving to Columbus, OH where he spent the past 15 years.
In his early years, Mr. Jeyatheva traveled the world for work. He met his wife, Chithrani Jayadeva, in Hanguranketha, Sri Lanka. They married in 1981. He not only took pride in his job, but truly relished the family and friends he has. He lived his life under God's guidance and cherished his family. He loved spending time with his children, grandson and traveled the world with his companion and best friend, his loving wife.
He made a lasting impression on everyone he has met with his caring and selfless outlook. He will forever be in our hearts and memories.
