John and I met Steve on several momentous occasions: Anthony and Vanessa’s wedding, the baby shower and at the hospital for the birth of their kids. Steve was kind and always willing to help. When I was struggling to get everything prepared on time for the baby shower, he was the first to volunteer and worked tirelessly to ensure everything was complete for Anthony and Vanessas’ guests. Steve and Debbie hosted a bunch of ladies at their home for Vanessa’s pre-wedding bridal. At the well catered and coordinated event I noted how meticulous Steve and Debbie kept their home. I also had the pleasure of meeting their cats, who Steve clearly loved very much. He made a special point to introduce me since we have a doppelganger kitty. Although our cat does not enjoy being picked up nearly as much!
I see many positive traits Steve passed on through Anthony. From expertly DIYing home projects to their affinity for food preparation he will live on through our memories and his sons. While we are truly sorry for the families’ loss, we are glad that he was here for the time that he shared with friends and loved ones.
