My deepest sympathy to my dear friend Laurie. May God be by your side during this very sad time with the loss of your husband. Terry was such a kind and generous man. When Laurie's girlfriends would visit, he had already gone to the store and bought the best treats for us. It was so much fun to watch through the pool sliding doors, Terry getting up from his recliner and quietly entering their kitchen for additional goodies for himself. He figured the "girls" were keeping Laurie busy and she could not give him heck for eating more sugar. He also loved it when Laurie had put on their calendar, "Girls Day." This meant, before Covid, Terry would not have any "To Do List" and he could watch all the sports and movies he wanted--no interruptions. He and Laurie would attend my parties at my home. Terry would only join Laurie for the smaller ones because of his suffering with PTSD. He was uncomfortable with a large crowd. But one time in the 12 years I've known Terry, he stepped out of his comfort zone and took Laurie to Leo's and they danced. We "girls" were there too. I looked up at Terry and said, "I didn't know you could dance like that." Big smiles came onto both of their faces. Thank you again for your military service. God Bless You Terry. You will be missed by all. Please try not to worry about Laurie, the "girls" and her family and other friends will help her through this tragic loss.
May You Rest In Peace
Your Friend, Debbie Rittenhouse
