Charlotte and I enjoyed the special times that we spent with Tom and Marilyn along with Phyllis and Millie and others that I can't remember. Tom always had stories to share about growing up in Clearwater along with a joke or two. He was a special person. My condolences to Marilyn and the family. May Tom Rest in Peace.

I don't know where to begin to describe my memories of you and aunt Marilyn. Obviously, when we were kids all the family gatherings during the holidays. All the jokes and tricks you played on everyone. You were an equal opportunity offender for sure. Ha! I still tell jokes and sing songs you told me back in the day. Then we go to the Homosassa days at the fish camp when we were young. I still talk about all the guys skinny dipping in the river to take a bath at night because we only had 1 shower. And of course that was reserved for the girls. Good food and laughter. A Chesnut tradition for sure. There is much more that I will certainly reflect on as the weeks go by. You are the last of the Chesnut boys of Nee Nee and Papa. I try not to be sad about that but I am. What a tremendous job they did raising you, Art and John. We all have learned work ethic, always help people in need and to always do the right thing. I am very thankful for this. We have certainly passed this life style to our children. Aunt Marilyn, I know you will draw strength from your memories of Uncle T. He is so fortunate that you said yes on your first double date. You had a tremendous love for each other that other people can only envy. God bless the family and friends and thanks for the memories Uncle T.

It was a pleasure to get to spend time with you and that “Southern Gentleman “ you called husband.
He will be SO missed. I’ve been blessed to have your wonderful daughter and son-in-law Terri and Kevin to live next door to. Tom was even more blessed to have Terri in his corner. I’ve never seen such devotion as I have in Terri. We should all be lucky enough to have someone like her in our corner.
My prayers are with you now and I love that you have the love of God to help you get through all this.

My memories of Uncle Tom started when I was in high school and I came to Florida for the first time with my parents and sister...He was just so much fun and such a Southern gentleman..from that point on he always held a warm spot in my heart..I will miss you Uncle Tommy....all of us will...love you always

I met you Marylinn when you have been on an all time low with your insured leg ! There was no men in my surrounding who would have been more patient, loving and caring than your husband Tom .
I had the pleasure and honor of knowing you both and your incredible daughter Terrie .
Every human being is blessed to have an advocate like her , who has been fighting to the extend of nearly her own destruction , to help, defend, fight and care for you Marylinn and for her beloved Dad!

We admired Tom for his family values. He was a devoted family man, especially to his wife Marilyn, daughters Terri & Ellen and grandchildren Kelly, TJ and Allee.
Tom was one of the nicest people we know. Tom was always great to be around, especially if you have a sense of humor. Beryl called him “a little dickens.”
He loved being around kids, and could get them going. Our children and grandkids enjoyed how much fun he was to be with.
Tom enjoyed sports. Tom, Terri’s husband (Kevin) & I could talk sports all day long. He was a good Tampa loyalist.
Our thoughts a prayers will be with him; especially during the holidays when we would all get together.

My heart is your family at this difficult time. Tom was one of the sweetest people I knew. I remember how happy he was last year at Thanksgiving watching all the kids running around and even jumping up and running in his lap. He just loves children. He will be missed.
