Thomas T. Chesnut's Obituary
Thomas T. Chesnut, 88, a life long resident of Clearwater passed away July 17, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born to John Sr. and Ellen Stanley Chesnut on April 16, 1930. He was a Clearwater High School alumni, class of 1949 and a Marine Corp veteran. He also worked for Blackburn Brothers Land Development until retirement in 1985. Following retirement, Tom and Marilyn enjoyed 20 plus summers in Franklin, North Carolina. He was a fine southern gentleman and a lifetime member of Episcopal Church of the Ascension. His greatest joys in life were his faith, love of family and laughter. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, John Sr. and Ellen Stanley ; his brothers, John Jr. and Arthur. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 60 years, Marilyn ; daughters, Ellen Chesnut Ayo, and Terri Keever (Kevin); grandchildren, Thomas John "TJ", Alexandra "Allee", and Kelly; sister-in-law, Joyce Chesnut ; cousin, Kappy Koch and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held at Church of the Ascension on Friday, August 3, 2018 @ 2:00 p.m. For online condolences please visit www.mossfeasterclearwater.com.
