Vidalina Feliciano's Obituary
Vidalina Feliciano October 27, 1933 - January 20, 2021
Vidalina Feliciano, 87, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2021 of natural causes.
She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Antonio Matos and Juana Rodrigues. Lina (or Billo, as she's known to family) moved to New York City when she was 16 years old and started work at a hat factory. One year later, her husband, Waldy Feliciano, who was 19 at the time, followed suit and moved to NYC to marry his one true love. Lina and her handsome guy were married for 45 years. They lived in NYC, where they raised their three children. She worked as a bookkeeper in the textile industry before retiring and moving to Clearwater, Florida.
Lina had a wonderful sense of humor and was full of love for everyone she met. She had a very close relationship with her children, grandchildren and extended family. She loved family and friends to drop by and enjoyed hosting some pretty amazing parties, especially every Christmas Eve. She was an amazing cook and everyone loved coming over for dinner. She was meticulous with her wardrobe and always made sure her purse and shoes matched.
She is survived by her Son, Waldy Feliciano, Daughter, Yvonne Feliciano (John Porche), Grandchildren, Marisol Feliciano (Greg Savino), Sara Feliciano Wilson, Jennie Doonan (Tom Doonan), Roberto Portalatin and Fernando Feliciano. Great Grandchildren, Tyler Wilson, Diana Doonan, Shane Doonan and Son-In-Law Edward Portalatin. In addition, she is survived by many beloved sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews, including, Joanne Vallejo, who lovingly cared for her during her illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldy Feliciano, daughter, Diana Portalatin, Father Antonio Matos, Mother, Juana Rodriguez,
three Sisters and ten brothers.
At a later date, there will be a private graveside service for the family at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater followed by a Celebration of Her Life.
