I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. What a good man! That’s my favorite memory.

Bill was President of the AGC of Mid-Florida when I was hired as the EVP in 1996. I was 32 years old. I was to get a company car and he had it ready for me when I arrived. A 1996 silver Crown Victoria. Popular car and color, if one was a cop. In that day the speed limit was 55, I used to tease him I could never go faster than that because everyone else slowed down.

Once I moved to Tallahassee in 1998 we would go to Nicholson’s Farmhouse when he was in town, I remember a few FSU football games. I’m so sorry we lost touch over the years. I reached out today to see how he was doing and got the bad news.

Bill. You were one of the greatest people and Brother in Law any one could ever have. You were so genuine and generous but always stayed in the background. It’s because of you that I changed from a Notre Dame and Miami fan to an FSU fan forever.
You were a Special and Good Guy and there’s one less Good Guy in the world today.

I have so many fond memories of Mr. Bill, he truly is and always will be one of my favorite people. I always looked forward to seeing Mr. Bill either for FSPOOOO games(LOL) or if he was going to see Mo at the academy. We talked sports, politics and of course we had all the answers to all the worlds problems, (just ask us). I have missed him so much the last 5 years, it just hasn't been the same without him. He's a wonderful loving and giving man and God is lucky to have him home.

Bill, miss you already. Thank you for looking out for me, your little sister. You were always a phone call away to listen to whatever I had to talk to you about. Then you always gave me your honest opinion especially whenever we were going to buy a new car! Haha! Cars were your specialty!
You shared your love of the Seminoles with Steve, your nephews and me! In fact you are the reason Taylor and Chris both graduated from FSU!
I am so proud of your generosity and selflessness to others and never looking for recognition.
